A Catering company based in George is seeking a Sales Trainee / Junior Sales Rep to join their team. This candidate should be ambitious, deadline driven and hungry to succeed!

Requirements :
– Matric
– Drivers licence and own transport
– Previous external sales experience
– Self motivated and able to work under pressure

Duties include :
-Promote and sell company products and/or services to current and new clients
-Identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
-Follow up on new leads and referral
-Identify sales prospect
-Prepare presentations and proposals
-Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
-Maintain current client and potential client relationships
-Oversee paperwork to activate and maintain call sheets and activity sheets
-Create statistics to ascertain customer and product performance;
-Manage product through quality checks and other follow-ups
-Resolve client concerns and complaints;
-Communicate new product and service opportunities or special developments to appropriate company staff;

Food Safety Controller

A concern within the Meat industry is seeking a Food Safety Controller to maintain the highest possible hygiene standards according to company policies and procedures.

The duties are as follows :
-Monitoring of hygiene manufacturing and storage environment
-Ensure that staff maintain housekeeping in all departments
-Daily checks on the floor of all departments
-Monitor the temperature and water chlorination
-Trimming of all soiling when vehicles are loaded or in the chillers
-Checking of truck cleanliness
-Checking batch numbers of loads and sampling of all incoming and outgoing products
-Checking chillers and freezers daily
-Reporting any problems regarding the product, storage temperatures or machines to the Manager
-Ensure that Food Safety and Quality Awareness are continuously promoted among all staff
-Training of staff according to the company policies and procedures
-Assisting in audits and supplier visits
-Visual quality evaluation of products and production lines
